Nick Griffin, the leader of the British National Party (BNP) is standing for election to the European Parliament in the North West region, which includes our district. Because of the way the voting system works, if there is a low turnout there is a strong chance he will get in and get thousands of pounds of taxpayers’ money to promote the BNP’s racist, anti-semitic, anti-Islam and anti-immigrant policies. If loads of people vote for other parties, he won’t get in. Make sure you vote on June 4th – for ANY of the other parties except the BNP – and get all your friends to vote too.
